Why Etche?
Etche is a Basque word meaning not only 'house', but also 'family home'. As well as reflecting the Basque links of its co-founders, the name 'Etche' also reflects the company's historic passion for real estate and symbolizes the concept of living and working together.
A strong identity
Etche was founded by Jean-Pierre Raynal and Léon Baruc in 2010.
Initially, a private real estate company operated on an asset management basis, it later specialized in various segments of the commercial real estate market. Over the years, it has progressively built a significant portfolio of assets, including some 140 buildings throughout France with a combined footprint of approximately one million square meters.
Its proactive management style and ability to add value to buildings with previously untapped potential have also attracted the interest and trust of high-profile partners.
In 2020, KKR, the leading global investment firm, acquired a majority stake in Etche to extend its reach and capacity in the French real estate market, focusing primarily on the growing light industrial and logistics sectors of the economy.

Our vocation
Today, Etche is a specialist in commercial real estate, with a strong track record of nearly 15 years in the French logistics and business real estate markets.
